Usage:
The 8T5337 Portable Hydraulic Pump Group is available. It is primarily intended to provide a convenient means for releasing the brakes on the disabled "L" Series tractors, shown in the chart, to allow towing. The relatively small size and the gasoline engine power supply make this pump group highly portable. This pump group can be easily and quickly installed on "L" Series Tractors listed in the chart.
NOTE: Tractors with product identification numbers higher than those listed in the chart require the FT1973 Adapter Group to release the brakes for towing with either this pump group on the hand-powered FT1845 Pump Group.
The 8T5337 Portable Hydraulic Pump Group could be used as an oil transfer device in many applications. It could be used to remove oil from a compartment before disassembly. This would prevent an oil spill and avoid wasting the oil. The pump group's return oil circuit contains a replaceable filter to insure that clean oil is delivered when the pump is used to transfer oil.
The pump group consists of a gasoline powered engine which drives a 9.5 L/min (2.5 gpm) hydraulic pump with the accessories necessary to control and direct the oil flow. The illustration shows the components of the 8T5337 Portable Hydraulic Pump Group.
