Description of Change: New retaining rings are used on 3406B Truck Engines. The new retaining rings are self-locking and will stay in the groove much better than former retaining rings.
Adaptable To: The new 7W8983 Retaining Ring is in effect with 3406B Truck Engine 7FB42058. The new retaining ring is a direct replacement for the former 9L6222 Retaining Ring in BrakeSaver groups on all of the above engines.
