New Ratchet Wrenches Available For Tube Fittings{0600}

Usage:

All Caterpillar Products

A new ratchet tube wrench group is available for use. The new ratchet tube wrenches are available as a group or can be ordered individually. Ratchet tube wrenches are stronger than crowfoot-type wrenches and require less clearance. The ratchet tube wrenches will ratchet in 45° increments (1/8 of a turn) and have a lifetime warranty. The new wrenches fit all six and twelve point fittings and valves. They also work well on O-ring face seal hydraulic fittings which require higher torques than the JIC fittings.

The new wrenches are available in sizes from 3/8" to 1 5/8" with either straight, integral handles or handles adapted for 1/2" square drive (see Illustration 1).

Wrenches equipped with square drives can be used with torque wrenches (see Illustration 2), combined with 1/2" drive extensions (see Illustration 3), or used with breaker bars (see Illustration 4).

The ratchet tube wrenches have forged steel jaws, heat treated high carbon steel handles, stainless steel rivets and a corrosion resistant finish.

Ratchet tube wrenches can be ordered as a group or individually as shown in the following charts.
