Meter Panel Cover Folds Down Completely {7451}

Usage:

All Generator Set Packages

Description of Change: The meter panel for generator set packages has a hinged cover to protect the meters. The hinges for this cover have been moved slightly outward so the cover can fold down completely (180°). Formerly, the cover could only come down a little more than 90° and was in the way of nearby personnel.

Adaptable To: Covers on earlier meter panels can be moved outward by doing the following:

1. Take out the two screws on each end that hold the cover hinges to the panel bottom.

2. Hold the cover so it hangs straight down (vertically), and mark the new hinge locations with the cover straight down.

3. Drill four new holes at the new locations and reinstall the same bolts.

4. Plug the four former holes with screws or bolts.
