Description of Change: An improved steel pilot control manifold group is now used on the D9T. The improved steel manifold will provide greater service life.

Adaptable To: The new 311-8508 Control Manifold replaces 223-8531 Control Manifold .

The improved manifold is effective with the following machines:

• D9T (S/N: RJS1183-UP)

• D9T (S/N: RJS1-1182)

Order the parts that are in Table 1.

(1) 223-8531 Control Manifold Group

1. Remove pilot control manifold (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR7470, "Pilot Control Valve - Remove".

2. Replace 223-8531 Control Manifold Group (1) with 311-8508 Control Manifold Group. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR7470, "Pilot Control Valve - Install" and refer to Parts Manual for the 205-8582 Pump Lines Group .

3. Replace the following seals:
   • 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal

   • 3D-2824 O-Ring Seal

   • 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal

4. Permanently mark the new manifold assembly with the part number 311-8508 Control Manifold Gp .
