Troubleshooting for 930G Wheel Loaders that Exhibit Dead Implement Functions{4320, 5050, 5057}

Usage:

930G TFW
Wheel Loader:
930G (S/N: TWR1-UP; TFW1-UP)

Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Certain 930G Wheel Loaders may experience a condition of dead implement function. The malfunction actually lies within the priority valve. The operator observes the symptom of implements which do not respond to commands. The issue with the priority valve occurs when the orifice for the load signal becomes blocked. The blockage causes the spool to shift to 100% steering. This effectively blocks excess flow from reaching implement functions and the pilot control lever. This blockage leaves all implement functions dead, but not faulty.

281-7276     Priority Valve

Solution

After verifying the above Priority Valve is installed and the implement functions do not respond to the operator, proceed to the Troubleshooting section and follow the provided flow chart for assistance.
