C6.6 Generator Set Caterpillar

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:

• The primary speed/timing sensor and the secondary speed/timing sensor are off by more than 8 degrees.

• The engine has been running for more than five seconds.

• Diagnostic code 190-08 is not active.

• No 41 diagnostic codes are active.

System Response:

Default timing is used. This code will not be logged. If equipped, the diagnostic lamp will flash when this code is active.

The engine may not run smoothly when this code is active.
