A New Kit for the Cooling System Pressure Cap is Available {1353, 1354, 1382, 1392, 7405}

  • The new kit includes the pressure cap, a warning film, and instructions for installation of the film. The contents of the kit are listed in Table 1.

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Pressurized System: Hot coolant can cause serious burns. To open the cooling system filler cap, stop the engine and wait until the cooling system components are cool. Loosen the cooling system pressure cap slowly in order to relieve the pressure.

    Install the 225-4256 Film on a flat surface of the radiator or on the expansion tank near the cap. Make sure that the film will not be obstructed by any object.

    When you replace a 4N-3311 Pressure Cap, use the 294-9052 Radiator Cap Kit.
