New Camshafts Used In SAE Standard [CCW] Rotation Engines{1200,1210}

Usage:

All 3500 Series Engines With SAE Standard [CCW] Rotation

Description of Change: New camshafts are being used in all 3500 Series Engines with SAE Standard [CCW] Rotation. The new camshafts have a tapered drive and thrust ring on one end only, and cannot be used in SAE Opposite [CW] Rotation Engines.

Adaptable As: The new camshafts shown in Chart A are direct replacements for the former camshafts used in SAE Standard [CCW] Rotation Engines only.

NOTICE

These camshafts cannot be reversed to change engine rotation.

To change an SAE Standard [CCW] Rotation Engine to SAE Opposite [CW] Rotation, new camshafts must be used. The former camshafts, which are serviced, must be used in a SAE Opposite [CW] Rotation Engine.

The new camshafts are not serviced, the former part numbers should be used when ordering parts. The new camshafts are effective with the serial numbers shown in Chart B.
