Use screw (1) in the center of the harness connector in order to remove the machine harness connector J1 and J2 from the ECM.

The Machine ECM is located on the left side of the machine. The ECM is mounted on the inside of the battery box.

The service tool connector and the harness code connector are located behind the access cover for the fuse panel. The access cover is above the cab floor on the left side of the machine.

The Electrical System Schematic, Parts Manual and Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced should be used to locate electrical components and connectors.

The following information is a guide to reading the tables on the back of the Electrical System Schematic.

  • The "Component Location" table uses white circles to mark the locations in the profile of the machine and in the area views. Alphabetical letters in the "Machine Location" column indicate a general area of the machine. Refer to the corresponding footnote at the end of the table for a description of the location.

  • The "Harness Connector Location" table uses white circles to mark the locations in the general view and in the area views. Alphabetical letters in the "Machine Location" column indicate a general area of the machine. Refer to the footnote at the end of the table for a description of the location.
