Housing (Front) - Remove
Start By:
- Remove the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Remove".
- Remove the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove".
- Remove the crankshaft front seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Front Seal - Remove".
- Remove the heat exchanger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heat Exchanger - Remove ".
- Remove the front engine support. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Trunnion - Remove and Install".

- Remove covers (1).
- Disconnect harness assembly (2).
- Remove bolts (3) and reposition the fuel filter assembly (5).
- Remove hose assemblies (4).

- Attach a suitable lifting device to front housing (10). The weight of front housing (10) is approximately
67 kg (148 lb) . - Remove bolts (11) and bolts (12).
- Remove front housing (10) and the gasket.
