Bolt Used Instead Of Stud In Governor Fastener Group To Prevent Damage To Governor Housing {1264,1287}
Usage:
All 3500 Series Engines Equipped With A UG8 Or 3161 Woodward Governor
Description of Change: Bolts are now used instead of studs and nuts in the governor fastener groups on the above engines. Bolts are used to help prevent damage to the governor housing when the governor is fastened to the bracket. Formerly, if the stud was installed too far into the block on the side of the governor, it could cause damage to the governor housing.
Adaptable As: The new bolts are a direct replacement for the former studs when used in the governor fastener groups shown in the chart. The washers used with the former studs and nuts must be used with the new bolts.
