Service Magazine SEPD0599, 08 October 2001, "An Improved Accumulator Spring Assembly is now used in the Valves for the Electronic Brake (EB) and the Electronic Clutch/Brake (ECB)". Disregard this article. See the article that follows. Information has been added in order to mark the different requirements of the machines with Differential Steer and the machines with Finger Tip Control.

Description of Change: Three new components for the electronic brake valve and for the electronic clutch/brake valve have been introduced. The new components will eliminate the production of contamination in the valve due to contact between the former accumulator spring and the bore of the valve body.

Adaptable To: The new part numbers are effective with the following valve groups.

  • 133-3255 Steering and Brake Control Valve Gp

  • 133-3256 Steering and Brake Control Valve Gp

  • 160-2456 Steering and Brake Control Valve Gp

  • 164-6092 Steering and Brake Control Valve Gp

  • 172-2287 Steering and Brake Control Valve Gp

Note: The former design included double springs. The new design uses a single spring. If any of the former two springs or the former piston are replaced, all of the former parts must be replaced with new parts. Refer to the tables and illustrations below for a list of available part numbers.
