Power Train Oil Pump - Disassemble

Usage:

D8R II 6YZ

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the power train oil pump.

Note: Mark all the pump components for correct assembly.

  1. Remove temperature sensor (1) and the O-ring seal.

  2. Remove bolts and washers (2). Remove cover (3) and remove the O-ring seal.

  3. Remove body (4) and the O-ring seal. Remove lip seal (5), retaining ring (6), and the lip seal (7) from body (4).

  4. Remove sleeve bearings (8) from body (4).

  5. Remove gear (7) and the woodruff key. Remove gear (10).

  6. Remove manifold (11) and the O-ring seal. Remove sleeve bearings (12) from manifold (11). Remove sleeve bearings (13) from manifold (11).

  7. Remove body (16). Remove gear (14) and the woodruff key. Remove gear (15).

  8. Remove spacer (17). Remove O-ring seals (18).

  9. Remove body (22). Remove O-ring seal (19). Remove gear (20) and the woodruff key. Remove gear (21).

  10. Remove drive shaft and gear (24) from body (22). Remove driven shaft and gear (23) from body (22).

  11. Remove sleeve bearings (25) from body (22).
