A New Integral Seal Replaces the Fiber Gasket for the Raw Water Pump {7555}

Usage:

3406E 9WR
Engine:
3406E (S/N: 9WR1-UP)
C18 (S/N: CKH1-UP; C1J1-UP; CYN1-UP)

Description of Change: A new integral seal replaces the former nonmetallic fiber gasket for the mounting flange of the raw water pump. The new integral seal is designed to seal the engine oil inside the engine at the joint between the mounting flange of the water pump and front engine cover. The new integral seal incorporates a round rubber sealing bead that is molded onto a steel carrier. The new integral seal provides a more rugged joint and a leak free joint that eliminates contamination, and increases service life.
