Installation Procedure

Note: Verify that all of the components of the pump drive lubrication gear pump are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.

Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

1. Install pump drive lubrication gear pump (2) and O-ring seal (4) (not shown). Install two bolts (5) and the washers.

2. Connect tube assembly (3) to pump drive lubrication gear pump (2). Connect hose assembly (1) to pump drive lubrication gear pump (2) .

3. Check the level of the front pump drive. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Pump Drive Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure. If necessary, add oil to the front pump drive.

End By:

1. Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
2. Disconnect the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
