Separation Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the transmission and the bevel gears. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission and Bevel Gears - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.
2. Remove the transmission hydraulic control valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.

1. Put the transmission and the bevel gears into position on Tooling (A), as shown.

2. Fasten a hoist and Tooling (B) to bevel gears (1) .

3. Remove three bolts (2). Remove the bevel gears from the transmission. The weight of the bevel gears is 215 kg (475.0 lb).

4. Remove O-ring seal (4) from the transmission.

5. Remove sleeve (3) from the transmission and remove the O-ring seal from the sleeve.
