New Washer And Bolts Keep Fan Drive Tight{1359}

All 3400 Industrial and Generator Set Engines
Description of Change: A thicker washer and self-locking bolts are used in the fan drive group on the above engines. The new bolts have a small deposit of nylon in the threads which keep the bolts tight. There have been reports of loose bolts on some fan drives. This permitted the fan to become loose and damage the radiator.
Adaptable As: The 7N2900 Washer and 5P7979 Bolts are a direct replacement for the former 5S7264 Washer and 1H5403 Bolts.
