Usage:
Sometimes it is difficult to move large parts between disassembly and assembly areas. The FT1588 Cover Storage Rack can be used for storage of components so they can be moved easily.
In the past, parts were put in large parts baskets when they were removed. Then, when the baskets arrived at the assembly area, the serviceman had to go through the baskets to find the parts he needed. Not only did this method take more time, but also parts were sometimes damaged.
The rack will hold a flywheel, flywheel housing, timing gear cover, camshafts, an accessory drive shaft, timing gear plate, oil pan, front and miscellaneous covers. It keeps all components within easy reach for assembly.
The cover storage rack can be moved with a lift truck or the 1P90 Wheel Dolly.
