Installation of D5M Sweep Group{7325}

Usage:

D5M 3CR
Track-Type Tractors:
D5M (PIN: 4BR; 3CR; 3DR; 6GN)

Introduction

This Special Instruction provides the information for the installation of the 107-7283 Sweep Group and 151-8169 Sweep Group .

The 107-7283 Sweep Group can only be installed on 107-7242 ROPS Group with an open ROPS assembly. The 151-8169 Sweep Group can only be installed on 108-2473 ROPS Group with an open ROPS assembly.

The ROPS is designed and the ROPS is certified to provide crush protection from rollover for the machine operator. The ROPS is designed in accordance with the applicable requirements that are stated on the plate that is attached to the structure.

Consult a Caterpillar dealer before altering the ROPS in any way to avoid the possibility of weakening the ROPS. If the ROPS has been subject to structural damage, then the rollover protective structure will be impaired.
