Installation Procedure

Note: Check the condition of the O-ring seals. If any of the O-ring seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

1. Install O-ring seal (10) on the flange of the steering pump.

2. Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting sling to steering pump (9). Use the hoist to carefully install steering pump (9). The weight of the steering pump is 138 kg (305 lb).

3. Install bolts (8). Remove the lifting sling.

4. Connect hose assemblies (5), (6) and (7) to the steering pump.

5. Connect hose assemblies (3) and (4) to the steering pump.

6. Connect electrical connector (1). Install tie straps (2).

1. Install the steering pilot pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Steering Pilot) - Install".
