Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install". The information is in this manual.
2. Remove the V-belts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "V-Belts - Remove and Install". The information is in this manual.

1. Remove twelve bolts (1) and remove both sections of the fan guard (2) .

2. Remove eight bolts (3) and carefully rest fan blade (4) in the radiator assembly.

3. Fasten a nylon lifting strap and a hoist to fan drive assembly (5). Remove four bolts (6) and the washers, and remove fan drive assembly (5). Fan drive assembly (5) weighs approximately 34 kg (75 lb).
