Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove", that is in this manual.

1. Fasten a hoist, nylon lifting straps, and Tooling (A) to the radiator assembly, as shown.

2. Remove fan blade (2) from radiator assembly (1) . Remove the six bolts from the front of the fan blade.

3. Place radiator assembly (1) on the floor, as shown.

4. Remove locknuts (3) and the washers from two studs (4) .

5. Place radiator assembly (1) in an upright position.

6. Remove four bolts (7) and the washers from plate assembly (5) . Remove plate assembly (5) from the radiator assembly.

7. Remove four bolts (8) and the washers from plate assembly (6) . Remove plate assembly (6) from the radiator assembly.

8. Remove two bolts (9) , the washers, and the nuts from both sides of radiator assembly (1) .

9. Remove hose (10) from coolant recovery tank (13) .

10. Loosen hose clamp (11) on hose (12) . Disconnect hose (12) from coolant recovery tank (13) .

11. Remove coolant recovery tank (13) from radiator assembly (1) .

Note: Do not damage radiator group (14) during the removal of radiator group (14) from radiator frame (15) .

12. Remove radiator group (14) from radiator frame (15) . The weight of radiator group (14) is 59 kg (130 lb) .

13. Remove four bolts (16) , the nuts, the washers, and radiator mounting group (17) from radiator frame (15) .

14. Remove the remaining radiator mounting group in the same manner.
