Hose Presses Can Now Be Used To Service 12.7 mm (.50") JIC Couplings {0623,0624,7554}
Usage:
The 8S4055 Coupling (JIC) can now be installed on 12.7 mm (.50") inside diameter XT-3 Hose with the 7S1100 and 6V4900 Hose Press Arrangements. This coupling needs different tools for installation and removal than the other hose fittings for 12.7 mm (.50") inside diameter XT-3 Hose. The tools which are needed are shown in the chart.
This coupling will fit into the tools, differently. Do not push against the nut because this can damage the coupling or the tools. Push only against the face of the coupling.
