Special Instruction, REHS0558, "Installation Instructions for New Air Suspension Seat and Wiring" is available.
A new air suspension seat is available for 515 (4LR1-722) and 525 (1DN1-1980) Wheel Skidders. The new air suspension seat provides better operator comfort. The new air suspension seat has a different structure than the previous seat that is more resistant to side loads providing longer seat life.
There are two new air suspension seats available, the 173-5363 Suspension Seat (vinyl seat) or the 173-5366 Suspension Seat (cloth seat). The 178-3579 Seat Wiring Kit must be used in order to install either of the two new air suspension seats.
Special Instruction, REHS0558, "Installation Instructions for New Air Suspension Seat and Wiring", explains the installation procedure used in order to install either of the two new air suspension seats.
