Description of Change: A new lift cylinder replaces the former cylinder to eliminate the piston bolt impacting the bottom of the cylinder cap. Repeated bottoming of the piston bolt can cause bolt loosening. Also the piston bolt has been changed to a high strength bolt to improve the torque capability and load carrying capability of the bolt. The bolt torque on the new cylinder has been increased from 1800 ± 200 N·m to 2000 ± 250 N·m.
Adaptable To: The new 139-7547 Lift Cylinder is a direct replacement for the former 111-7951 Lift Cylinder. The Lift Cylinder is effective with 515 (4LR720-Up) and 525 (1DN1979-Up). The new 173-9683 Bolt is a direct replacement for the former 8C-3411 Bolt.
