Fuel Transfer Pump - Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install the O-ring seal on fuel transfer pump (2). Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
- Position fuel transfer pump (2) on front housing (4). Install bolts (1).
- Connect tube assembly (3) to the fuel transfer pump.
- Connect the fuel supply line to the fuel transfer pump.
- Turn the fuel supply valve to the “ON” position.
- Remove the air from the fuel system. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Fuel System - Prime".
