- Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Coolant System Coolant - Change".

Illustration 1 g01052554 - Loosen hose clamps (10) and remove hose (11) from the exhaust elbow.
- Loosen hose clamps (1). Slide hose (2) onto exhaust elbow (4).
- Loosen bolts (8). Remove exhaust elbow (3) and the gasket from turbocharger (7).
- Loosen bolts (5). Remove exhaust elbow (4) and the gasket from turbocharger (6).
- If necessary, remove pipe plug (9) from exhaust elbow (3). Remove pipe plug (12) from exhaust elbow (4).

- Position exhaust elbow (4) and the gasket on turbocharger (6). Install bolts (5). Do not tighten the bolts at this time.
- Position exhaust elbow (3) and the gasket on turbocharger (7). Install bolts (8). Do not tighten the bolts at this time.
- Align the exhaust elbows and slide hose (2) in position. Tighten hose clamps (1).
- Tighten bolts (8).
- Tighten bolts (5).
- Install hose (11) on the exhaust elbow. Tighten hose clamps (10).
- Apply Tooling (A) to pipe plug (9) and pipe plug (12). Install the pipe plugs.
- Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Coolant System Coolant - Change".
