Introduction
This instruction provides the necessary information to modify the existing radiator grill, on the above track-type loaders, to make it possible to install the rear lights of a four light group without purchasing a new grill.

Modification Procedure
943 and 953
1. Fabricate from mild steel, two bars as shown, for the 943 or the 953 loaders.
963 and 973
2. Fabricate from mild steel, two bar as shown, for the 963 or the 973 loaders.
3. Remove the grill from the radiator guard.
4. With an air carbon arc torch or similar tool remove the upper corners of the grill as shown in the illustration and chart.
5. Weld the appropriate bars to the grill with a 6 mm (.24") fillet weld at locations (A) and (B).
6. Paint the grill.
7. Install the rear light group.
8. Install grill to radiator guard.
