Usage:
NOTE: The rear axle housing is shown removed from the machine. The axle housing does not have to be removed to remove the rear support.
1. Drain the oil from the differential.
2. Put blocks in front and behind the wheels of the machine.
3. Remove the eight bolts and nuts that hold the front and rear supports to the frame.
4. Fasten a hoist to each side of the main frame and lift the rear of the machine approximately 2 in. (50.8 mm). The weight of the rear of the machine is approximately 6000 lb. (2700 kg).
5. Install tooling (A) under each side of the main frame for support.
6. Remove cover (1) and the plastic washer from the support.
7. Remove plate (2) and the plastic washer from the support.
8. Fasten a hoist or use two persons to remove support (3) from the trunnion. The weight of the support is 75 lb. (34 kg).
9. Remove trunnion (4) and the O-ring seal from the axle housing.
Install Rear Axle Housing Support (Rear)
1. Put clean oil on the O-ring seal and install trunnion (1) on the axle housing.
2. If necessary make a replacement of bearing (3) and O-ring seal (2) in support (4).
3. Fasten a hoist or use two persons to install support (4) on the trunnion.
4. Install plastic washer (5) and plate (6) on the trunnion.
5. Install plastic washer (7) and cover (8) on the support.
6. Fasten a hoist to each side of the main frame and lift the rear of the machine to remove tooling (A).
7. Lower the weight of the machine on the rear axle supports and install the bolts and nuts to hold them.
8. Fill the final drive with oil to the correct level.
