Tank Removal And Installation - (Early Machines)


1-Right arm rest and plate assembly.


2-Bucket control linkage.

At installation, tighten the bolts, securing filter screen group (5), oil lines (6) and (8) to the tank bottom plate, to 60 ± 2 lb. ft. (8,3 ± 0,27 mkg).


3-Oil line to pump inlet. 4-Oil line from bucket positioner master valve. 5-Filter screen group. 6-Oil lines to lift cylinders. 7-Drain oil line from bucket positioner master valve. 8-Oil lines to tilt cylinders. 9-Bolts (three). 10-Bolts (eight).


11-Forged eyebolts (1/2" - 13 NC). 12-Hydraulic tank.

Control Valves And Linkage Removal And Installation


1-Access cover.


2-Filter outlet tube assembly.


3-Linkage. 4-Bolts (two). 5-Bolts (forty-four).


6-Tank assembly.


7-Retaining bolts for bracket assembly (11). 8-Retaining bolts for control valve group (18). 9-Retaining bolts for bracket assembly (17). 10-Retaining bolts for slave cylinder (14). Install seal washers directly adjacent to tank bottom plate.


11-Bracket and lever assembly. 12-Lift control valve spool linkage. 13-Slave cylinder linkage. 14-Slave cylinder. 15-Bracket and lever assembly. 16-Tilt control valve spool linkage. 17-Bracket and lever assembly. 18-Lift and tilt control valve group.

25-Tilt circuit relief valve (rod ends). 26-Tilt circuit relief valve (head ends). 27-Plate. 28-Tilt circuit make-up valves. 29-Main pressure relief valve. 30-Lift circuit make-up valves.

Control Valves And Linkage Removal And Installation

Lift and Tilt Control Valve

1 Remove check valve inserts with a FT503 Valve Insert Puller.

2 Loosen or tighten retaining bolts with valve spool in the control valve body.

5, Install seal with spring-loaded lip toward bearings. Outer metal shell of seal must be flush with outside face of lever housing.

Oil Filter Tube Removal - (Earlier Machines)


1-Filter cover assembly. Install cover with air bleed plug at the top. 2-Oil line to filter drain plug. 3-Sensing line to filter indicator. 4-Sensing line to filter indicator. 5-Filter outlet tube and baffle assembly. 6-Filter inlet tube. 7-Support bracket. 8-Filter housing.


9-O-ring seal.

1-Filter cover assembly. Install cover with air bleed plug at the top. 2-Oil line to filter drain plug. 3-Sensing line to filter indicator. 4-Sensing line to filter indicator. 5-Filter outlet tube and baffle assembly. 6-Filter inlet tube. 7-Support bracket. 8-Tube assembly. 10-Filter housing.

Bucket Positioner Oil Lines


1-Hydraulic oil supply tank. 2-Tilt cylinder (right side). 3-Bucket positioner master valve. 4-Actuating oil line to slave cylinder in hydraulic tank. 5-Drain oil line. 6-Pressure oil line, connects to tilt cylinder (rod end oil line).

Bucket Positioner Master Valve


1-Oil line, connects to slave cylinder in hydraulic tank. 2-Oil line, connects to rod end of tilt cylinder. 3-Drain oil line, connects to hydraulic tank. 4-Bolts, nuts, lockwashers and washers. 5-Master valve.

Bucket Positioner Actuating Mechanism


1-Bolts. 2-Bolts. 3-Actuating mechanism.

Hydraulic Pump And Oil Lines


1-Screen filter. 2-Hydraulic oil supply tank. 3-Torque converter housing. 4-Pump inlet line. 5-Pump outlet line. 6-Pump.

Hydraulic Pump Removal


1-Left steering clutch control pedal. 2-Pump inlet line. 3-Pump outlet line. 4-Bolts (two). 5-Hydraulic pump.

Screen Filter (Earlier Machines)


1-Pressure oil line from pump outlet. 2-Bolts. 3-Screen filter group.
