Bucket, Bucket Control And Frame

Usage:

General Purpose Bucket Removal


1-Pins.


2-Bucket. 3-Bearings. Press out if replacement is necessary. 4-Bearings. To remove, use an 8B7548 Push Puller, 8B7554 Bearing Cup Pulling Attachment, 8B7553 Reducing Adapter, 8H684 Ratchet Box Wrench.

Front Links And Levers Removal

1. Raise the bucket and block beneath lift arm. Tilt bucket forward so cutting edge rests on ground.


2-Pin. 3-Pin. 4-Link. 5-Pin. 6-Pin.


7-Lever. 8-Bearing. To remove, use an 8B7548 Push Puller, 8B7554 Bearing Cup Pulling Attachment, 8B7553 Reducing Adapter and an 8H684 Ratchet Box Wrench.

Rear Levers And Links Removal

1. Raise the bucket and install the lift arm support block. Move bucket to the full dump position.


2-Pin. 3-Pin. 4-Lock bar.


5-Inner lever. 6-Pin. 7-Outer lever.


8-Pin. 9-Link. 10-Bearing. Remove with 1H3112 Bearing Cup Pulling Attachment, 8B7548 Push Puller, 8H684 Ratchet Box Wrench. 11-Bearing. One in each end of link, press out if replacement is necessary.

Remove pins (2), (3), (6) and (8) with an 8B7548 Push Puller (with 8B7549 Leg in place of 5F7366 Screw), 5H1274 Adapter, 3/4"-16 NF nut, 7F9540 Hydraulic Puller, 6F25 or 3S6224 Pump Group. If pins cannot be removed by hand after puller is fully extended, add spacers between puller face and nut.

Bucket Control Removal As A Unit


1-Bucket and front links. 2-Lift arm support. Raise lift arms and install. 3-Front levers. Extend tilt cylinder piston rods until levers are against stops. 4-Pins (one each side of machine).


5-Floor stands. Lower lift arms to approximately 24 in. (609,6 mm) from floor. 6-Oil lines to rod ends of tilt cylinders. 7-Master valve oil lines. 8-Oil lines to head ends of tilt cylinders. 9-Oil line support brackets. 10-Pins (two). 11-Pins (two). Note the number and location of shims on pins.

Remove pins (4) and (11) with an 8B7548 Push Puller (with 8B7549 Leg in place of 5F7366 Screw), 5H1274 Adapter, 3/4" - 16 NF nut, 7F9540 Hydraulic Puller, 6F25 or 3S6224 Pump Group. If pins cannot be removed by hand after puller is fully extended, add spacers between puller face and nut.

Bucket Control Installation

1. Position the lift arms on the loader frame and install pins (1). Connect all hydraulic oil lines.

2. Temporarily connect links (4) to levers (3) with punch or drift pin (2). This will prevent interference between the rear links and lift cylinders when raising the lift arm.


1-Pins (two). 2-Punch or drift pin. 3-Rear levers. 4-Rear link.

3. Start diesel engine and raise lift arm. Remove temporary pins (2) and install correct pin.

Loader Frame


1-Loader frame. 2-Steering clutch and bevel gear case.
