ACTION REQUIRED
Group 1 Before disassembling the blade from the machine, inspect the bolt. Determine if there is a washer under the bolt head and also the dimension of the bolt. If there is no washer and the bolt is 45mm long (dimension from under head to end), the bolt does not need to be replaced. If the bolt is 35mm long, the blade has to be removed from the machine and the 118-9573 Bolts must be replaced with 8 new 9X-8271 Bolts. If there is a washer under the bolt head, disassemble the blade from the machine and remove the washers. When installing the bolts, tighten the bolts to a torque of 55+/-10 Nm. For these serial numbers the threaded length in the bearing housing is correct and does not to be increased. Group 2 Disasssemble the blade from the machine. Remove the 8 Bolts 118-9573 and the 266-9599 Retainer. In the bearing housing, increase the threaded length of the 8 M10x1.5 holes by 6mm (threaded depth should be 40mm from the housing surface). Reinstall the retainer with 8 new 9X-8271 Bolts and tighten to a torque of 55+/-10Nm. Reassemble the blade on to the machine. |
