(1) Terminal connections for the engine speed sensor

(2) Plug

The control for the tachometer calibration is located under the plug.

Torque ... 0.6 ± 0.1 N·m (5 ± 1 lb in)

(3) Nut

Torque ... 0.9 ± 0.1 N·m (8 ± 1 lb in)

Operating temperature range ... −20 ° to 85 °C (−4 ° to 185 °F)

The tachometer must be accurate within the following value. ... ± 0.5 percent

Input frequency range ... 75 to 9000 Hz

The time that is required to update the display is the following value.

Maximum ... 1.0 second

Minimum ... 0.25 second

If the tachometer signal is provided from a signal generator that is driven from a tachometer drive use the number 11 switch position for the tachometer calibration. If the tachometer signal is provided from an engine speed sensor use the number 1 through 9 and 11 through 14 switch positions for the tachometer calibration. The switch position that is used will depend on the number of teeth that is on the flywheel.
