Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Apply Tooling (C) to the new liner seal (2). Install liner seal (2) in the machined groove on cylinder liner (1).
- Position cylinder liner (1) in the cylinder block. Use Tooling (B) to press the cylinder liner in place.
Note: Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "Cylinder Liner Projection" topic in order to check the cylinder liner projection.
