Description of Change: New cylinder head groups are used in the above engines. The new cylinder head groups include a new exhaust valve seat insert. The new cylinder head groups will provide decreased wear between the exhaust valve and the exhaust valve seat insert.

An additional change has been made to cylinder head groups for the G3408C Low Emissions and G3412C Low Emissions Engines. This change is a new exhaust valve guide that is not counterbored at the bottom of the guide. This new exhaust valve guide is made from cast iron.

Adaptable To: Table 1 identifies the new cylinder head groups and the corresponding former cylinder head groups. Table 2 identifies the remanufactured cylinder head groups. The new 198-6529 Valve Seat Insert (Exhaust) and the new 151-1330 Valve Guide (Exhaust) have been added to these groups. The part numbers for the remanufactured cylinder head groups have not changed.
