Installation Procedure

1. Inspect the condition of the gaskets and O-ring seals. Replace the gaskets and the O-ring seals, if necessary.

2. Install O-ring seal (29) in elbows (22) and (20).
   Show/hide table

3. Position nylon straps (24) and attach a suitable lifting device on aftercooler (25).

4. Install the aftercooler on the engine.

5. Install the nuts on two bolts (26) on front side of mounting plate (27) and on the rear side mounting plate.

6. Install two bolts (28) on both sides of the mounting plate for the aftercooler.

7. Remove the nylon straps from the aftercooler.

8. Install four bolts (23) that fasten pipe (22) to the turbocharger compressor housing on each side of the engine.

9. Install four bolts (21) that fasten elbow (20) to the throttle control valve.

10. Put the gaskets in position and install elbows (18) and (19) on the bonnet of the aftercooler.

11. Put the O-ring seals on tube assemblies (16) and (17). Install tube assembly (16) and tube assembly (17) in the bonnet of the aftercooler.

12. Position tube assembly (15) and install two brackets (13).

13. Install tube assembly (14) on tube assembly (15).

14. Install tube assemblies (11) and (12).

15. Put tube assembly (9) in position and install the clamp and support bracket (7).

16. Install tube assemblies (8) and (10).

17. Position tube assembly (1) and install clamp (6) that fastens the tube assembly to the elbow.

18. Position tube assembly (1) in the elbow and install clamp (2).

19. Position tube (4) and install the clamps.

20. Install support bracket (3).

21. Install tube assembly (5).

End By:

1. Install the fuel control valve.

2. Install the gas pressure regulator solenoid.
