Apply 1U-8846 Liquid Gasket to the front housing sealing surfaces before you assemble the front housing to the cylinder block. The front housing must be assembled and the front housing must be tightened to the cylinder block within ten minutes.

(3) Bolts (X) ... 50.0 mm (1.97 inch)
(4) Bolts (Y) ... 20.0 mm (.79 inch)
(5) Front housing cover
(6) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the serrations of the studs before installation.
