2301 电动调速器控制系统可实现精确的发动机转速控制。 2301 控制装置将会持续测量发动机转速。 2301 控制装置可通过一个执行器对发动机燃油设定进行必要的修正。 执行器连接到燃油系统上。

发动机转速由发动机转速传感器进行检测。 该传感器将会产生一个发送至 2301 控制装置的 AC 电压。 此时 2301 控制装置将会向执行器发送一个 DC 电压信号。

执行器将会把来自 2301 控制装置的电气输入转化为机械输出。 这个机械输出由一根连杆连接到燃油系统。 例如，如果发动机转速超过转速设定值，则 2301 控制装置将会降低输出。 执行器此时将会移动连杆以减少供应至发动机的燃油。
