New Unit Injector Sleeves and O-ring Seals Are Now Available {1290}

Description of Change: New unit injector sleeves and O-ring seals are now available. The new O-ring seals are made from a new material. The new O-ring seals have a larger cross section. The O-ring seals must be used with the new unit injector sleeve.

Adaptable To: The new 166-3739 Unit Injector Sleeve replaces the former 104-5536 Unit Injector Sleeve. The former 104-5536 Unit Injector Sleeve has been cancelled. The new 166-2903 O-ring Seal (2) is used in the top position. The new 166-2904 O-ring Seal (3) is used in the middle position. The 9X-7430 O-ring Seal (4) is still used in the bottom position. The new O-ring seals must be used with the new unit injector sleeve.

If the former 104-5536 Injector Sleeve does not need to be replaced, use the 166-3718 O-Ring Seal in position (2) and (3). Use the 9X-7430 O-Ring Seal in position (4) .

Both the new unit injector sleeves and the former unit injector sleeves can be used in the same engine.
