该测量可以检查发动机的效率。 把进气歧管压力与 TMI(技术营销信息)中燃油设定和相关信息内给出的技术参数相比较。 应在发动机功率下降,但是发动机又没有切实的故障迹象时采用本测试。

TMI 中还列出了进气歧管的正确压力。 该信息是在下述条件下拟定的:

  • 干式大气压力为 96 kPa (28.8 in Hg)

  • 外部空气温度为29 °C (84 °F)

  • 美国石油学会 (API) 的燃油比重等级为 35 API

这些条件的任何变化都会影响进气歧管的压力。 外部空气的气温可能会高于、大气压力可能会低于以上给出的数值。 这将造成较低的功率以及比 TMI(技术营销信息)中给出的压力低的进气歧管压力测量值。 具有较低的温度和较高的大气压力的外部空气可能会造成较高的功能和较高的进气歧管压力测量值。

燃油等级的差别将使进气歧管功率和进气歧管压力发生变化。 如果燃油等级高于 35 API,则进气歧管的压力可能会低于 TMI(技术营销信息)中给出的压力。 如果燃油等级低于 35 API,则进气歧管的压力可能会高于 TMI(技术营销信息)中给出的压力。

当检查进气歧管压力时,请确保进气和排气不存在堵塞。

(A) 管塞

为了检查进气歧管压力,请拆下 1/2-14-NPTF 管塞 (A) 。 将 1U-5470 发动机压力表总成 连接到进气歧管中这个开口上。
