NOTICE

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the assembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Position fuel tank (21) .

Position strap (23) and install bolt (25) .

Position bracket (26) and install bolts (24). Connect hose assemblies (22) .

Install floorplates (19) .

Install panel (18). Position hoses (17) through the grommets and connect hoses (17) .

Position support assembly (13) and install bolts (16) .

Connect harness assembly (15). Connect bracket assembly (14) .

Connect cable assembly (11) and harness assemblies (12) and install the mounting hardware.

Install guard assembly (10). Connect harness assembly (9) .

Position cable assembly (1) through the floorplate and install grommet (8). Install support assembly (6). Connect cable assembly (1) to support assembly (6). Position hose assemblies (7) through support assembly (6) .

Install floor mat (5) .

Position the hose assemblies and harness assemblies and install plate assembly (3). Install two bolts (4) .

Install console (2). Connect cable assembly (1) .

Fill the fuel tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain".

End By:

Install the pilot valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pilot Valve (Joystick) - Install".
Install the heater assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heater Core - Remove and Install".
Install the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install".
