Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the heating and air conditioning unit. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heating and Air Conditioning Unit - Remove".

1. Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and linkage (2). Remove air filter (3), clips (6), screws (5), and cover assembly (5) .

2. Remove bolts (7) .

3. Remove clips (8) and (10). Disconnect harness assembly (11). Remove screws (9) .

4. Disconnect linkage (17) and harness assemblies (13) and (20). Remove actuator (18). Disconnect harness assembly (13) from the bottom of housing (19). Remove screws (14), bolts (16), and clip (12). Remove upper housing (15) and harness assembly (13) as a unit.

5. Remove evaporator coil (21) .

6. Remove thermistor (22) from evaporator coil (22). Remove bolts (24) and expansion valve (23) .
