Problem 1: The Pump Motor Does Not Run
Cause: The Voltage supply is interrupted
Solution:
- Check the voltage supply or the fuses.
- Check the line that is leading from the fuses to the pump plug and to the timer.
Cause: The circuit board is faulty
Solution:
- Replace the printed circuit board.
Cause: The electric motor is faulty
Solution:
- Check the voltage supply to the motor. Replace the motor, if necessary.
Problem 2: The Pump Does Not Deliver Lubricant
Cause: The reservoir is empty
Solution:
- Refill the reservoir with clean lubricant.
Cause: There is an air pocket in the lubricant
Solution:
- Bleed the air at the outlet fitting that is on the pump element.
Cause: The pump suction port is clogged
Solution:
- Remove the pump element and check the suction port for foreign matter.
Cause: The pump piston is worn
Solution:
- Replace the pump element.
Cause: The check valve in the pump element is faulty or clogged
Solution:
- Replace the pump element.
Problem 3: There is a Blockage Downstream of the System
Cause: A bearing, line or metering device is clogged (lubricant leaking from the relief valve)
Solution:
- Clean the component or replace the component, if necessary.
Note: When you disassemble a metering device for cleaning purposes, do not interchange the piston when you reassemble the metering device.
