Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Cable - Inspect/Replace".

2. Loosen the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

3. Remove access panel (1) that is located behind the seat.

4. Remove bolts (2) .

5. Disconnect harness assembly (3) .

6. Disconnect cable assembly (6) .

7. Remove bolt (5) .

8. Remove alternator (4) .

1. Position alternator (4) .

2. Install bolt (5) .

3. Connect cable assembly (6) .

4. Connect harness assembly (3) .

6. Install access panel (1) that is located behind the seat.

7. Tighten the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

8. Connect the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Cable - Inspect/Replace".
