The remote pressure taps are located behind the left rear access door.

    (1) Pressure tap (Proportional relief valve pressure (Swing pump))

  1. Connect a 4000 kPa (580 psi) pressure gauge to pressure tap (1) .

  1. Start the engine.

  1. Place the backup switch in the OFF position.

Note: The backup switch is located behind a cover in the right console.

  1. Place the swing lock pin in the LOCK position.

Test

  1. Adjust the engine speed to HIGH IDLE by turning the engine speed dial to position 10.

    (2) Power mode control

  1. At the soft switch panel, select "Power Mode E" by pushing down on the button for power mode control (2). The first indicator light will illuminate when "Power Mode E" has been selected.

  1. Lower the left console.

  1. To check the power shift pressure, slowly move the joystick to full SWING RIGHT or to the full SWING LEFT position.

  1. Check the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1) .

Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Specifications" in this manual for the correct swing pump pressure (proportional relief valve) in "Mode E" for your machine.

  1. If the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1) is not within specifications, proceed to the following procedure.

    ET Configuration Screen

  1. Select "Swing Pump Economy Mode Pwr Shift Pres Sol Current" under "Mode Control Configuration Parameters".

  1. Select the "Change" button.

  1. Enter a current value. Start with a current value of "0.33".

  1. Select "OK".

  1. Select "Yes".

  1. Slowly move the joystick to the full SWING RIGHT or to the full SWING LEFT position.

  1. Check the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1). If the pressure gauge reading is within specifications, proceed to Step 14. Otherwise, repeat Steps 8 through 13 until the correct pressure is reached.

Note: Always make the final pressure adjustments on the pressure rise.

  1. Select "Swing Pump Power Mode Pwr Shift Pres Sol Current" under "Mode Control Configuration Parameters".
