- Place the swing lock pin in the LOCK position.
- Start the engine.
- Lower the left console.
- Position the machine on level ground.
- At the soft switch panel, select "Power Mode P" by pushing down on the button for power mode control (3). The second indicator light will illuminate when "Power Mode P" has been selected.

- Adjust the engine speed to HIGH IDLE by turning the engine speed dial to position 10.
Test and Adjust
- Slowly move the joystick to the full SWING LEFT position or the full SWING RIGHT position.
- Check the pressure reading on the pressure gauge at pressure tap (2) for the swing cutoff pressure for swing left. Check the pressure reading on the pressure gauge at pressure tap (2) for the swing cutoff pressure for swing right. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Specifications" in this manual for the correct swing cutoff pressure.
- If the swing cutoff pressure is not set to the proper specification loosen the locknut on the adjustment screw for high pressure cutoff valve (1) .
- Turn the adjustment screw for high pressure cutoff valve (1) until you read the correct pressure. Turning the adjustment screw for high pressure cutoff valve (1) clockwise will increase the pressure and turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise will decrease the pressure.
- Tighten the locknut on the adjustment screw for high pressure cutoff valve (1) to the specified torque.
Note: Make the final pressure adjustment on the pressure rise.
