Description of Change: The 157-3198 Operator Monitor Gp is improved. Several improvements have been applied to the manufacturing process in order to ensure the quality and durability of the monitor.

Adaptable To: Refer to the following table for the effectivity of the improved monitor. The improved monitor display was effective with Excavators that were manufactured on the 23February 2004.

The improved monitors have a date code that is stamped on the monitor. The sequence of numbers for the date code is the year, the month, and the day. The date code on the first improved monitor is 4123. The code would represent the date of 23January 2004. Refer to Illustration 1.
