An Improved Bushing is Now Available for Mini Hydraulic Excavators {6508}

Mini Hydraulic Excavator: 301.8 (S/N: BFA1-UP)

An improved bushing for the Mini Hydraulic Excavator is now available for the excavators that are listed above. The new undercarriage extend bushing will provide improved durability characteristics. The better durability characteristics will improve the overall undercarriage durability.

The new 249-0039 Bushing is a direct replacement for the former 190-9768 Bushing. The 249-0039 Bushing is adaptable to all 301.8 (S/N: BFA) Mini Hydraulic Excavators. The procedure below bonds the 249-0039 Bushing during installation. Refer to illustration 1 for more information.

(1) 249-0039 Bushing

Clean all bonding surfaces from dirt, oil and paint.

Apply 152-9155 Adhesive to the surface of the 249-0039 Bushing.
Note: Ensure that the central groove of the 249-0039 Bushing is completely covered with adhesive.

Insert the bushing. Do not operate the machine for 60 minutes in order to allow the 152-9155 Adhesive to cure.

Note: Full bond strength is reached after 24 hours. Do not operate the undercarriage extend cylinder during the initial 24 hours.
