A New Washer Prevents Oil Leakage From The Hydraulic Pump {507G, 5084}
- Mini Hydraulic Excavator:
- 304 CR (S/N: NAD1-UP; BTN1-UP)
Description of Change: The original washer may have been damaged during testing at the factory. Use the new washer with the following procedure in order to prevent further oil leaks.

(1) 224-0038 Nut (2) 196-3905 Washer |
- Remove nut (1) and washer (2) from the regulator.
Note: Take care not to alter the position of the regulator's screw. Altering the position of the regulator's screw may result in loss of hydraulic power.
- Clean the nut and the screw.
- Apply 3S-6252 Sealant to the screw.
- Install a replacement 196-3905 Washer. Make sure that the rubber portion contacts the pump.
- Install nut (1). Torque the nut to 18 ± 2 N·m (13 ± 1 lb ft).
